Thrive@Work:
Building Commitment, Connection & Ownership in the New Workplace
Young people entering today’s workforce are facing unprecedented uncertainty. From sky-high housing costs to shifting definitions of success, many Gen Z professionals are asking themselves: What am I even working toward? In conversations with both emerging professionals and their employers, a shared struggle has become clear—many are finding it difficult to fully commit to their roles and connect meaningfully with their work.
Thrive@Work is a breakthrough course developed by the Leader Lab to address this challenge head-on. This experience is designed to empower young professionals to take ownership of their workplace engagement—redefining what commitment and connection mean for them, and cultivating a mindset of possibility, not resignation.
At the core of the course is our embodied leadership approach, which emphasizes that leadership isn’t just what we think—it’s how we show up. Through experiential practices, somatic learning, and guided reflection, participants learn to recognize the physical and emotional patterns that shape how they relate to work, others, and themselves. We help them develop the presence, resilience, and self-awareness needed to lead from the inside out—no title required.
We empathize with how overwhelming it must feel to be 20 years old and assess that homeownership or starting a family may be out of reach. AND, we also believe—strongly—that Gen Z is not destined to stay stuck in those assessments. They are capable of leading themselves and others, rewriting their narratives, and building a thriving path forward.
Participants will leave this course with:
Tools to identify and shift limiting beliefs about work and the future
A renewed sense of personal agency and purpose
Practices that ground leadership in the body, not just the mind
Practical strategies for building authentic connection with teams and leaders
The ability to create meaning in their roles—regardless of title, company, or industry
Thrive@Work is more than a professional development course. It’s a commitment to helping the next generation own their experience.
We envision a new young workforce who meet their future with curiosity, ambition and respect.
